Resumen
This monograph proposes an innovative solution to optimize strawberry cultivation in the region of Cundinamarca, through the integration of cloud platforms and IoT (Internet of Things). The main objective is to improve the efficiency and productivity of farmers by providing them with a technological tool that allows them to remotely monitor and control different aspects of the crop. The proposed solution is based on the installation of sensors in the field, which collect real-time data on key variables such as temperature, soil moisture and water quality. This data is transmitted to a cloud platform, where it is processed and analyzed using machine learning algorithms. Farmers can access the platform via mobile devices or computers, allowing them to make informed decisions about irrigation, fertilization and other aspects of the crop. It is evident that this solution contributed to increasing strawberry production in Cundinamarca and improving the sustainability of agricultural activity in the region, concluding that IoT technologies and cloud platforms can be used to optimize processes in Colombian agriculture.
