Propuesta de mejoramiento en la segregación de residuos aprovechables y no aprovechables en el Hospital San Rafael de Cáqueza, aplicando estrategias educativas dirigidas al cliente interno

Abstract

The ESE Hospital San Rafael de Cáqueza is a level II health entity that provides services of low and medium complexity. The hospital, as a public health establishment, interested in continuously improving its environmental performance, sets itself the goal of reducing and/or mitigating the negative impacts that may be generated on the environment and health, through compliance with legal requirements and the current environmental regulations. From the above, the entity has a documented Environmental Management policy, with indicators that measure, monitor, and from which improvement plans are generated in case of any deviation. This internship was carried out during the period between December 16, 2022 and January 23, 2023 within the framework of the Environmental Administration and Natural Resources career, where it was possible to identify problems associated with the segregation of waste, therefore which environmental education strategies are proposed for the staff of the institution followed by the application and fulfillment of these in order to contribute to improving the segregation of usable and non-usable waste that is produced in the hospital.
