dc.description.abstractThroughout time, Colombia has lived in a society where the central theme is a history of armed conflict, which has kept our country in uncertainty, anxiety and total insecurity; evil has taken over all corners, turning war into the daily bread of many populations. Hence arises the need to strengthen and generate spaces for dialogue, reflection, and reconciliation in everyday life, as an alternative to overcome the ravages of a senseless war. Therefore, the objective of our research proposal arises: Identify how children and young people experience peace in their contexts, to promote a reflection process that helps build identity and character. Consequently, it can be said that peace affects the strengthening of the character and the construction of the identity of the being, prioritizing the common good, the experience of values that guide us to act in different environments, contributing and recreating healthy environments coexistence, negotiation, respect for what is different, prioritizing dialogue, the peaceful solution to problems of daily life. This exercise in building coexistence is urgent and necessary in our country, beginning with families, political, social, community, and educational environments. Finally, the methodological development of this research was based on the qualitative approach, within a descriptive scope, using the (IAP), "Participation Action Research", using collection techniques such as: direct observations, the workshop, within the instruments are used field diaries, surveys, interviews.
