Abstract

This project aims to generate a prototype of a single-family home in the village of El Llanito in rural Barrancabermeja, which presents a model of sustainability and productivity, implementing bioclimatic strategies and productive spaces that contribute to food security and economic development of users. In this way, it is intended to improve the quality of life of the beneficiary families as well as contributing to the reduction of the existing housing deficit in the population center caused by the low supply of housing projects and the accelerated development of informal housing. The interest and motivation that gave rise to the development of this project, arose from a social approach based on the need for decent housing presented by the rural population inhabiting in the village, since they do not enjoy optimal conditions of habitability for healthy development in their environments. It was decided to choose the town center El Llanito as a study area, considering its potential as a pole of industrial, tourism and agricultural development.
