Terminal de transporte terrestre intermunicipal para el distrito especial de Barrancabermeja/Santander

Abstract

The city of Barrancabermeja is considered a very important commercial and industrial node in Santander's Magdalena Medio, where the current segregated and practical management given to the land transport terminal has become a big problem due to the need for a space unique and functional that brings together the different transport companies that operate at this point, that do not interfere with the natural traffic of the municipality, and that offers users, both passengers and operators, the expected comfort and safety. Therefore, in this degree work, the development of the design of a land transport terminal for Barrancabermeja was sought, taking into account the historical / industrial context of the city, as well as the minimum spatial and structural needs of a Category 4 terminal, according to NTC 5454 of 2006.
