Resumen
This project relates multiple disciplines with the objective of providing both the company and the professionals with a systematic structure to effectively manage the macro-process of leachate treatment, promoting the implementation of good practices and continuous improvement in performance. For this purpose, the development of the analysis of the most recent characterization of the leachate collected in the PTASS aeration pools was proposed, programming also a series of laboratory practices; a total of nine laboratory practices were carried out, starting with two error tests, one with the determined dose, three with pH variation and three final practices where the practices are repeated four times with the same pH variations as before. In the most optimal result, a turbidity removal of 95.25% was obtained with a dose of 2.0 ml of aluminum sulfate and 0.25 ml of anionic polyacrylamide in an environment with a pH of 7.93. The data of the practical stage were processed by Statgraphics software, demonstrating the significance of the variable factors and projecting through linear regression the equation that allows to know the turbidity removal knowing the variable factors in the specific units. Finally, an instruction manual containing the measurement parameters for an optimal development of the coagulation-flocculation process is presented to the environmental company Veolia. This document is incorporated to the documentary record of the Integral Management System, being available for its conservation, communication and use.
