Propuesta de diseño arquitectónico de una casa de la cultura para el municipio de Simacota, Santander

Abstract

Architectural design proposal for a house of culture for the municipality of Simacota, Santander. Culture, art and social activities are essential for the proper development of human beings. However, these requirements are not properly covered in small municipalities such as Simacota, Santander. Therefore, it is imperative to guarantee the necessary spaces for such social aspects in municipalities such as the one mentioned above. This must be achieved in a public and free way; regardless of the social, religious, political or economic conditions of the municipality population. This degree project provides a functional and pragmatic architectural design based on basic composition operations in order to adequately meet the cultural, artistic and social needs, strengthening the cultural identity and appropriation of the traditions of the population of the municipality of Simacota, in the department of Santander, Colombia.
