Abstract

The following is a degree work that was born as a proposal presented within the framework of the USTA 2023 research project: Spatial Inequality, Gender and sports practices: an analysis of women's access to public space in the city of Villavicencio, in this as The preliminary project seeks to identify the main problems associated with the concepts of spatial inequality and sports practice, from an epistemological and conceptual perspective of gender studies. As a draft, it seeks to develop a proposal to identify public and private physical spaces that favor sports practice and have problems for its proper development by women. Where the methodological level was a review of around 30 articles in various Latin American databases. Based on said review and after the identification of the research problem of the macro project from which it derives1, a work proposal for the city of Bogotá is introduced. It was possible to show from the literature's review that these types of issues have a high level of visibility, recognition and discussion and although, today there is a whole theoretical, investigative and political development on the problems associated with gender issues, It is necessary to go deeper into its analysis and discussion in specific scenarios such as sports practice and the use and adaptation of sports spaces for fair and safe practice.
