Abstract

The memory center project: rebirth of peace, was born from a social problem, which through architecture seeks to respond to the victims of the armed conflict experienced in Turbo Antioquia, taking into account aspects such as state abandonment, social stigmatization, loss of culture, decline of the tourism sector, violence and expropriation of land. Renacer de Paz is a project that will recover and preserve the culture of the community, honoring a people marginalized by violence in

order to turn it into a benchmark for tourism framed in the roots of its community, thus developing three stages, the first covers the research line where the problem and the different alternatives generated in society through architecture are exposed, the second will be the stage of architectural and urban design, finally in stage three the connectivity between architectural design, functionality and characterization of culture will be carried out framed in materiality, elements and concept of the project.
