Resumen
In 2022, Colombia ranked as the eighth country with the highest number of international air reservations at the World Tourism Summit of the World Travel and Tourism Council. The municipality of Los Santos, due to its privileged and strategic location, stands out for tourism, marked by the variety of activities to be carried out such as visits to natural caves, waterfalls, extreme sports, as well as tourist and geographical tours or religious activities and within the passive activities emphasize contemplation and relaxation in natural environments. This means that the country's potential and, specifically, the region faces the challenge of being even more competitive in order to continue strengthening itself at the tourism level; through different social, economic, cultural aspects, among others, but starting from the projection of accommodations that contribute, adapt and aim to provide an experience to the type of user who frequents who, after the pandemic, has been oriented towards tourism of nature and sustainable tourism. This is why the design of a glamping-type Hotel for rural areas in the municipality of Los Santos is proposed. With this approach, the aim is to represent through architectural design the important relationship between a hotel space of comfort and well-being with the interaction of nature; seeking to rehabilitate areas that have been deforested, contribute to the strengthening of tourism in the region and provide new lodging possibilities with bioclimatic strategies that contribute to user comfort.
