Estimación de la pobreza monetaria para los municipios de Cundinamarca vía estimación en áreas pequeñas.

Abstract

The calculation of monetary poverty of territories is perhaps one of the most important measures for the analysis of economic and social inequality models. We propose a statistical procedure that contributes to analyze the records of Multipurpose Survey of 2017 (La Encuesta Multipropósito), as well as official records, the production of demographic statistics that the municipalities of Cundinamarca generate and the private sector giving way to an estimation of monetary poverty by municipality. For the elaboration of the procedure, the branch of statistics science called Small Area Estimation (SAE) with compositional data is linked, which will allow achieving monetary poverty estimates at a minimum level of geographic disaggregation (estimates for the 116 municipalities of Cundinamarca) through a multivariate model Fay-Harriot of small areas estimation with their respective parametric MSE-bootstrap, that is fed by the data coming from the EM 2017, from the official records (auxiliary information) of the aforementioned actors.
