La disminución de las exportaciones desde las zonas francas en Colombia.

Abstract

With the economic opening, industrial development and internationalization, in Colombia has given way to the generation of new strategies that help to cope with the actual competition that is occurring in foreign trade; tools such as: laws, agreements and free zones that help and encourage the development of the national economy. The free zones have served as an aid in the opening toward international trade, both in Colombia and in all countries. This tool is very used and initially it was given a focus to boost exports, encourage FDI and stimulate growth in each of the regions, but now this has been changing since its main focus is on foreign investment and the income that this generates for the country. This has generated a notorious decrease in exports that are made from the free zones in Colombia, therefore, we will analyze the model and the strategies that are being implemented in the free zones and likewise we will take as a reference other models of free zones with a focus on exports from other countries in order to generate new strategies that can be implemented in Colombia.
