Resumen
This research project aims to point out the relationship of the bioelectric activity of the cerebral cortex during the execution or practice of physical exercise. Searches were made in different scientific databases and 13 relevant articles were selected. The results highlight the abundance of studies on this topic and reveal interesting findings. A relationship between bioelectric signals and muscle strength was demonstrated, suggesting that these signals could provide information on neuromuscular activation during exercise. Furthermore, aerobic exercise was found to have an impact on brain activity, which could be related to the cognitive benefits associated with physical exercise. An individual paucity in the brain's response to exercise was also found, highlighting the importance of accounting for differences when analyzing bioelectrical signals. These discoveries highlight the importance of understanding these signals to better understand neuromuscular and cognitive processes related to physical exercise and sport.
