Resumen
The Functions Manual is a personnel administration instrument, which reflects the functions, capacities and profiles established for the existing positions in the Tunja Sectional Santo Tomás University, it is the base that supports the training and performance evaluation of the collaborators, as well as as a technical instrument where the existence, creation or elimination of positions is justified, supporting the studies of workloads, the system of metrics and indicators and the self-control criteria.
The current Manual of functions of the Tunja Section, is a document whose validity dates from the year 2011 in which the organic structure, functions and existing position profiles in that year are established.
Within the Institution, it is the organic statute that establishes that the Manual of Functions will be approved by the Superior Council, in addition to the fact that the Advisory Council's function is to propose recommendations on this, it clarifies that the sections must prepare and approve their own Manual of Functions .
In accordance with the above and considering that the Tunja Sectional Santo Tomás University has grown from 2011 to November 2022, which implies that its organic structure has changed, it is proposed in this document to update the functions manual that responds to the evolution of the section.
