Resumen
This research work aims to identify the effect of the work environment on the performance of workers in the Health Sector in Colombia and the way in which these effects generate psychosocial risks and low productivity. That is why for such development is taken as a first step equations database search. By means of which information is researched, collected, organized, and interpreted, taking inclusion and exclusion criteria, with the objective of reducing the amount of references found in the different databases.
Taking into account the results, the contributions of different authors and researches about the topic to be studied in depth were taken as a reference, where they highlight that the term work climate or organizational climate is the way to describe how the psychological structure of the organizations is conformed. Thus, it is worth mentioning that the approach to approach this monograph is documentary research, where a reflexive analysis of the documentation obtained is carried out.
After the analysis of scientific documents with the approach of investigating and interpreting information about the work environment in the health sector in Colombia and how this environment has a direct relationship with the work performance of people within it, resulted in seven (7) outstanding factors: job satisfaction, leadership, motivation, communication, reward and recognition, interpersonal relationships and ergonomics.
