Resumen
The objective of this work is to publicize the design decisions made for the architectural urban intervention proposal "Fabric
Buenavista" in the municipality of Monteria (Córdoba, Colombia).
For this reason, the trajectory of the project is to strengthen and unify the city through the development of an architectural urban
approach that will allow connecting the two roundabouts of the river in a direct environmental and pedestrian way and give
importance to commune 1 and 2 that are It is located on the west side, in front of the historic center in the Ronda del Río Sinu.
In the first place, a diagnosis is made through the multi-scale research methodology addressing issues of public space, mobility,
green areas, infrastructure among others, in the same way an 7 analysis through a bibliographic review identifying the main needs and shortcomings which establish the objectives of the intervention.
Next, the step by step that was developed in the urban intervention with the delimited sector is described in detail, the strategies used are explained, the organization chart of activities and their connection, such as; the location of green areas, road infrastructure proposals, points of tension with specific uses to strengthen the sector and the appropriation of the community.
Subsequently, the impact of the intervention on the city and the chosen communes is evaluated to establish the dimensioning of the project, a perception of the aspects to be improved, such as accessibility to the area, the increase in economic activity
and transformation of the physical environment and as through our proposal, it is possible to connect and develop the western margin of the city of Monteria in a more organized way, through the planning of a reticular fabric of the urban fabric in which the river is linked to its environment in order to generate an enrichment in urban growth and strengthening the quality of life of its inhabitants.
