Currently, the company Espinosa Martínez S.A.S has presented considerable growth in view of the new access to private contracting processes in the Llanera region, which has allowed it to increase its operational, technical and administrative capacity to maintain coverage in the multiple works that arise with the passing of the days, but said growth presents considerable shortcomings that affect the development of the projects. These shortcomings are evident in the lack of business organization, the empirical way in which the projects are managed, the lack of documentation required for the management of a project, the loss of financial resources and the lack of a standardized base capable of supplying the client the necessary information to satisfy the needs raised. For these reasons, the need to formulate a proposal for a PMO project management office based on the processes of the PMBOK 7th edition was determined, with which the company can establish an organization according to the type of projects it manages in order to improve the operational capacity and company competitive. In order to provide a linear approach to the proposal proposed in this project, it begins with the strategic planning of the company in order to guide its business development in each of its business lines. In the same way, it seeks to manage the different projects through the PMBOK guidelines, for which it seeks to make a proposal for the adoption of these guidelines in the constitution of the PMO focused on any line of business of the company in order to facilitate its implementation. versatility.
Starting from the previous proposal, it seeks to validate the proposed structure, which is why it is intended to evaluate it based on its applicability and, in turn, taking into account the cost-benefit relationship that it entails.
