The process of social appropriation of knowledge for the solution or strengthening of issues of social interest, prepared in 2022 within the framework of the research project "Transformative Actions to co-inhabit with water in the amphibious urban-rural habitat of neighborhoods La Cruz and La Honda in the Quebrada La Honda del Valle de Aburrá, Antioquia Colombia", includes the understanding of the historical, anthropological and ethnographic elements of the inhabitants of the area under study; the implications of climate change on the territory; recording of techniques in the search for other ways to establish the relationship between the water resource with the topography, the occupation of the territory and the organization of the human community (Moments 1 - 2). Develop, jointly between the community, students, researchers and professionals, the designs of a contextual community equipment for the protection of water resources with an approach and education of the community to the natural resource (Moments 3 – 4). The return, where the interpreted information on the protection of the natural environment and interaction with human activity is delivered to the community (Moment 5). Finally, the permanent feedback of the learning, as well as the respective documentation of the investigative and training process of all the parties involved, the dissemination and replication of the methodology and the results of its implementation.
