Resumen
This document aims to present the state of the art of reports and literature about clean production and its strategies, such as the circular economy and renewable energies. The objective is to present the evolution of this topic in Colombia and to understand how aspects such as the circular economy and production with clean technologies have allowed organizations to achieve added value in their management and contribute to their competitiveness.
In recent years, many studies have been conducted on the effect of industrialization on the environment and its impact: effects on the earth's crust and the different species of fauna and flora, and the depletion of non-renewable natural resources. The consequences of the greenhouse effect have also been studied, a phenomenon caused by the warming of the atmosphere and the concentration of greenhouse gases, which has increased the earth's temperature, affecting the normal climate cycle with severe droughts and rains that affect rural and urban areas at a global level. To counteract this situation, organizations are developing strategies that allow them to have a cleaner production and thus have a more positive impact on the planet. Among these strategies is the implementation of the circular economy and clean energy production, which help improve organizations' processes and competitiveness.
This document is the result of the research strategy implemented with members belonging to the study group of the Inclusive Business and Shared Value academic space and MBA graduates. This research was conducted to develop and strengthen the issue of business competitiveness in a sustainable way by proposing an alternative solution to companies in Colombia and, in general, to the country, with the circular economy as the main topic.
