Resumen
The use of agrochemicals has generated the accelaration of productive processes,
has been responsible for creating new types of crops through the genetic modification of
seeds and has created a system of unequal commercialization for small and medium
farmers, and is also considered responsible for generating irreversible environmental
damage. Thus, some peasant organizations have implemented resistance alternatives
against these agrochemical process, seeking solutions to the environmental, social and
economic problems that afflict the peasantry and the countryside. This is why, in this
research, a case study was carried out in which the resistance of the organization El
Convite Campesino located in the town of Arcabuco, Boyaca, was identified, which
allowed analyzing the development and construction od agroecology as a way of life and
lifestyle that opposes agrochemical processes, and whose purpose is to exercise food
sovereignty to counteract enviromental pollution and economic inequality.
