This thesis is based on a didactic sequence addressed to the fourth grade students of the Nuestra Señora de las Flores Educational Foundation, which allows students to achieve significant learning about the fundamental concepts of organic gardening through this project based on organic home gardens. ecology, The document begins with an introduction about the environmental problems that our planet earth lives, to the protection and conservation of the environment. general objective to assess the impact that this didactic sequence had on students, highlighting the specific objectives such as the design, implementation and evaluation of the didactic sequence carried out, guaranteeing that students would not only reinforce their knowledge about ecological concepts, it is developed under an approach of action research type as a result they acquired knowledge about ecology and in turn collected the fruit of their harvest; It allowed students to observe first-hand the importance of biotic and abiotic factors, cultivation techniques and interactions and, in turn, achieve a productive ecological harvest. Finally, a positive impact of the didactic sequence was found on the students, since the realization of the school garden allowed them to know first-hand how the ecological foundations and their concepts are interrelated to identify relevant factors on the developed agricultural activity, contributing to promote your knowledge.
