dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this work is to describe the impact of incentives on the motivation of workers in Colombian companies and their influence on organizational development, this being a topic of current discussion in companies, we seek to find a relationship between the degree of motivation produced by incentives, whether economic or not, with the productivity of workers in different Colombian companies and the fulfillment of organizational objectives. The research method used in this research is qualitative because it seeks to understand and explain how incentives impact the motivation of workers, the people involved in this case will be the workers of different Colombian companies, the collection instrument used was the survey. which sought to know the perception of workers regarding incentives and motivation in organizations. Thanks to the analysis of results, it is possible to identify that the need for recognition is one of the most important factors that influences the motivation of collaborators. It is important to understand that incentive and recognition plans in companies, although they represent an important way of motivating and demonstrating to workers that, thanks to their effort and performance in their activities, the company meets its objectives and maintains itself, it is also a way to strengthen the organizational culture, keep human talent and attract new ones.
