Abstract
The present investigative work is based on identifying how emotional intelligence influences
the variation of the turnover rate of the company Atento S.A. in the period between March and
August 2022, it seeks to categorize the different reasons for voluntary resignations and thus
determine what percentage occupies each of the types of turnover, from this it is expected to
determine if the emotional factor is influential in the discharge voluntary turnover rate in the
company; therefore, a review of some texts is made and how the evolution of work models over
time begin to manage the concept of EI (emotional intelligence) as a transcendental factor for the
development and permanence of workers within the company
