Consumo alimentar da população adulta durante a pandemia da Covid-19 no Brasil: revisão sistemática

The objective of the work was to describe the behavior of food consumption in
the adult population and eating habits during the Covid-19 Pandemic, in order to verify the
food consumed during this period of social isolation. Method: this is a systematic review
based on the scientific literature focused on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the
population's diet. Data collection was carried out from July to August 2022, where the
bibliographic search of articles was carried out in the National Library of Medicine (PubMed)
and Virtual Health Library (BVS) portals, in the Scielo, Medical Literature Analysis
databases. and Retrieval Sistem Online (Medline) and Latin American and Caribbean
Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS). Results: In this study, 7 articles were found by the
aforementioned descriptors, which met the inclusion criteria, being articles published in
Portuguese, English and Spanish, articles in full that portrayed thematic regarding the impacts
and changes in the diet of the population, due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus and
articles published and indexed in the aforementioned databases from 2020, established in the
research, in which it was possible to highlight some impacts caused by the COVID-19
pandemic, regarding dietary changes. It is clear that, during the period of home confinement,
caused by the covid-19 pandemic, that the eating habits of the Brazilian population and the
lifestyle of families have changed. In most of the studies mentioned in this review, the
population reported less healthy eating habits during the isolation period. In which, some
changes in people's behavior and lifestyle were noticed, increasing the risk of diseases and
generating strong influences on eating habits. It is concluded through this review that there
were changes in people's behavior and lifestyle during the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing
