Resumen
This work aims to introduce the following problematic: to what extent the
researches about gender and sexuality may be approached in the school
context in a way to promote a non-sexist education in kindergarten education?
In this perspective, some research papers were found in Google academic and
Scielo platform based on the key words: gender, sexuality and kindergarten
education, reaching a total of twelve works, among them, five monographs, six
scientific articles and a doctoral thesis. The methodology approach was the
qualitative – descriptive. It was found on the works researched that there is a
great difficulty in approaching gender and sexuality, partially because there is a
deficiency in teacher formation when it comes to this theme, what results in the
replication of prejudices when there is a great political drawback, that reaches
directly the approach to this question, especially in the pedagogical
environment. As a conclusion, although there are a number of taboos being
broken, there is still a considerable social resistance to the debate on this
theme in the classroom.
