The results reflect a possible lack of guidance, information and encouragement regarding oral care, situations that may be occurring due to low oral health coverage. Most pregnant women said they have a history of dental caries and have noticed oral changes during this period. They also said thet had heard about dental prenatal care and everyone believes that dental follow-up during pregnancy is important. Is was concluded that the perception of the pregnant women participating in this study was positive regarding dental follow-up during pregnancy, recognizing, for the most part, its importance.
