Qualidade em produtos de software: um enfoque na área médica

Abstract

We define software quality as a set of characteristics that together will satisfy the necessities of its users. It is very important to evaluate the quality of a software product because it is through this evaluation that the users will be sure that they are getting a product that it’s worthwhile. To get total quality on software is not as easy as it seems. There are so many factors to be considered and some of them are complex to be analyzed. To get the software working good and having its confidentiality it’s very important, especially when related to the medical area which is going to deal with lives. This work presents a bibliographic study that looks to used methodologies, quality in general, quality of software products, quality of software process, and used standards, all related to the software in the medical field.
