Inclusão digital: escolas conectadas no município de Esteio/RS

Considering public investments in the promotion of digital inclusion, this article aims to analyze
the digital inclusion of students in public schools in the city of Esteio-RS, through the
implementation of the Sala Conectada (SC) project. Being studied what are the future
perspectives of the use of the connected room and what are the needs for improvements in the
project, seeking to answer this question, interviews were carried out with managers of 3 schools
in the studied municipality, as well as a documentary analysis of public programs in
technologies in 9,204, of November 23, 2017, which institutes the Connected Education
Innovation Program (Brazil, 2017) and later Law No. Connected Education” (Brazil, 2021).
Through the analysis of the data obtained from the interview with the managers, it was observed
that despite the instrumentalization and acquisition of equipment that the project provided, and
that are being used in the schools studied, there was no adequate training for teachers, nor
effective participation of them. in the process of creating teaching-learning methodologies that
promote the inclusion of students, requiring greater investment and research in these areas.
