Proposição de um framework de integração entre resiliência e práticas de gestão lean na cadeia de suprimentos: um instrumento para autoavalição de desempenho

Implementing only lean strategies in the supply chain can prove inefficient due to the focus on minimal inventory and more flexible scheduling, which sometimes conflicts with the concept of resilience in a supply chain, making decision-making difficult. Therefore, this study aims to propose a framework for integrating resilience capabilities with efficiency practices brought by Lean in the supply chain. The research was divided into seven stages, starting with the identification of Lean management tools and practices and the skills of a resilient supply chain through a literature review. Subsequently, the integration between the two perspectives was developed and validated by experts in the field. Thus, a theoretical foundation was provided for the development of a self-assessment instrument, which was applied in a case study. Finally, the results were analyzed and discussed, along with recommendations for implementing the perspectives. As a result of the research, a framework for integrating Lean management practices and resilience capabilities in the supply chain was obtained, serving as a basis for a widely applicable self-assessment instrument for any company seeking to integrate the two perspectives and seeking a diagnosis for appropriate decision-making. Furthermore, these results have implications in both academic and practical realms, providing a solid foundation for companies that aim to improve their performance, eliminate waste, reduce costs, and increase flexibility throughout their supply chains.
