Systemic arterial hypertension is a cardiovascular disease with clinical manifestations of
multifactorial origin that constitutes one of the greatest public health problems today.
Educational technologies are health education resources that seek to expand users' knowledge
and favor changes in life habits. In this perspective, this study aims to Know the educational
technologies validated for people with systemic arterial hypertension and their contributions to
health management. This is an integrative literature review carried out in March 2022 using the words “Educational Technology and Hypertension” in the Latin American Health Sciences
Literature database and “Educational Technology” and “Arterial hypertension” in the SciVerse
Scopus and in the Scientific Electronic Library Online Portal, totaling seven studies, with no
time frame. The analysis was performed through the analysis of evidence and thematic. The
contributions of scientific productions on educational technologies for people with systemic
arterial hypertension refer to the learning experiences shared by exchanging information,
establishing bonds and sharing doubts for behavioral changes related to the practice of physical
exercises, healthy eating, self-care and prevention and/or control of risk factors. The health area
produces academic works related to the theme, however, in an incipient way about the
validation of educational technologies for people with systemic arterial hypertension.
