Vulnerabilidade social nas escolas na percepção de professores municipais de Novo Hamburgo e São Leopoldo

Resumen
This article presents an exploratory study aimed at understanding the different conceptions of
vulnerability, the problems that arise from this context in schools, and analyzing possible
interventions that transpose and reach the vulnerable culture. In this work, interviews were
conducted with twenty-eight teachers from the municipalities of Novo Hamburgo and São
Leopoldo, who are or have been associated with schools in vulnerable area. Based on the
responses obtained, the interview analysis technique was applied using the accounts of the daily
life of these teachers in the schools. The results show some possibilities that can be used in
practice in this reality, exploring possible intervention alternatives. It was also noted that there
is no single model to be followed, as this gap affects different instances and contexts of society.
We must keep in mind that as educational professionals we consider these problems as part of
a context, and therefore any educational intervention is an act of possible destabilization - an
act of courage.
