This monograph discusses the so-called “precariat”, the precarious sector of the proletariat, emphasizing the extent to which social inequality gains new contours due to the labor relations that have been established in the last decade. It also seeks to analyze how workers are shaping the new forms of work that arise with the advent of new technologies, in a neoliberal and exploratory society, and how this directly affects these workers to be increasingly on the margins of society, with precarious jobs, without guaranteed labor rights and in increasingly worse living conditions and prospects for the future. As an object of study, the research analyzes data on app delivery people, a professional category that expanded in the period of the pandemic, thus seeking to demonstrate the precarious situation in which these workers find themselves. The reactions of this category to this exploratory situation will also be discussed, which culminates in measures that have been defended so that these workers have more rights and improve work guarantees.
