The present work aims to present the electromobility standard Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), as well as to demonstrate the importance of standardization in order to make electric vehicles more competitive when compared to vehicles with combustion engines . A Node-RED development platform was used, which can emulate the actions that are part of the OCPP structure, dividing them into visual flows. The simple maintenance and the addition of extra implementations in the OCPP make it possible to test new functionalities without the need to physically acquire the loading infrastructures. This work was able to demonstrate some of the main actions that make up the OCPP protocol, in addition to adding new features when using resources that the Node-RED platform provides.
