Jornalismo de subjetividade em podcasts narrativos: uma análise do Praia dos Ossos

Abstract

This research presents a study on journalistic narratives and subjectivity in narrative journalistic podcasts. As a research object, we analyzed the podcast Praia dos Ossos, idealized and presented by Branca Vianna, and distributed by the production company Rádio Novelo. The podcast has eight episodes that were released weekly between September and October of 2020. Praia dos Ossos retells the murder of Angela Diniz by her boyfriend Doca Street and the unfolding of the case. The crime occurred on December 30, 1976, at Praia dos Ossos, located in Búzios, Rio de Janeiro. The objective of this work is to analyze the presence and the manifestations of subjectivity of the narrator in the podcast. The first stage of this research sought to understand the journalistic narratives and how they organize the facts, the narrator's characteristics and the narrator's traces of subjectivity. Then, we went through the podcast history, consumption mode and its formats, focusing on narrative podcasts. In the third chapter we presented the podcast Praia dos Ossos as a research object, and approached the methodological path, which was anchored in the method of Content Analysis, from Bardin (1977), to categorize the marks of subjectivity of Branca Vianna, introduced in the episodes. Finally, we present the analysis chapter where it was possible to categorize the registration units found in the episodes into three categories: "Routine", "Interaction with the listener" and "Opinionated", where markers were also chosen to give meaning to the excerpts.
