The following report contains a production record of a historical fantasy comic, carried out as the final stage of the Social Communication - Editorial Production course at the Federal University of Santa Maria. Such project has its main purpose in the autoral production of a comic book, that unfolds in the following specifics: the construction of a historical fantasy narrative led by LGBTQ+ characters in a fantastical world that takes inspiration on brazilian folklore. It begins its theoretical discussion of comics as a means of communication based on the works of Will Eisner (1989), Marcos Aurélio Lucchetti and Rubens Francisco Lucchetti (1993), Edgar Franco (2001), Scott McCloud (2005) and Érico Assis (2020), proceeds to the analysis of Historical Fantasy as a genre and the use of Brazilian folklore from the works of Poul Anderson (1982), Roland Barthes (1988), Bruno Matangrano and Enéias Tavares (2018), and then it makes an overview of the independent comic book publication scenario using the works of Ellen Lupton (2011), Marina Avila and Valquíria Vlad (2021). The next portion of
the report focuses on the practical stages of conceiving and executing the story, in a project that allowed exercising the multiple skills acquired during the course.
