This work of course completion seeks to research the great importance for
education, for dealing with issues that involve the inclusion of children with autism
in the school context, highlighting a reflection on inclusive pedagogical practices
for the inclusion of this public. Aiming at the importance of knowing how inclusion
in early childhood education teachers has been addressed in initial formation, and
how it still causes strangers of teachers and other professionals, how to adapt to
these children and them to us. In this sense, I will seek to investigate the
pedagogical practices and difficulties that students with autism face to be included
in Early Childhood Education. We will use the literature review approach and data
analysis will be done a documentary research of descriptive opinions, as will be
carried out a survey of how the teaching practices have been helping the process
of school inclusion of a student with autism in the private institution of early
childhood of Santa Maria. I believe there is a need to rethink the role of the school
with students with autism. It is time to offer these students conditions of access to
culture (produced historically) and to social interaction. Finally, I emphasize that
pedagogical practices can be favorable for special education within the
perspective of inclusive education through the collaborative work developed
among the professionals of the specialized educational service, multidisciplinary
technical team and class teacher.
