Resumen
In this work asymmetric polymeric membranes were applied for colour removal of one reactive dye. the three-factors and two levels central composite design was adopted in this study where 11 experiments were carried out with a dye solution prepared in the laboratory. the three factors were polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) concentration, textile dye (TD) concentration and transmembrane pressure (P). Response surface for colour removal and permeate flux through these synthesised membranes were determined. the best results were obtained with the membrane with PVDF 25%, 16 bar and dye concentration 0.01 mg/mL. the colour removal was between 83.5% and 99.6%.
