Resumen
We present a comparative analysis between two pieces of news - one of Folha de Sao Paulo and one of O Globo - the month of October 2010, when there were elections for president in Brazil. We showed the anaphoric and cataforicos resources and its possible effects of meaning in media discourse. To achieve our goal, the theoretical basis is guided in Charaudeau (2012), Maingueneau (2002, 2008, 2010 and 2014), Sullet - Nylander (1998), Calabrese (2012) and Ringoot and Utard (2009). The analysis of the corpus revealed that these mechanisms lead to a discursive positioning in relation to the event reported the discursive ethos of the enunciator.
