Análise das representações da rendição de Vercingetórix em dois diferentes registros: no De Bello Gallico, de César, e nas Aventuras de Asterix, o gaulês, de Uderzo e Goscinny

Abstract

The intention of this thesis to analyze in two different records, narratives about the same historical event: the surrender of Vercingetorix. The goal will involve the establishment of a comparative analysis between the description of the event, originally narrated by Julius Caesar, in his De Bello Gallico, and its representation in comics collection An adventure of Asterix the Gaul, created by Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny, particularly in volumes, the Shield Averno and Asterix the Gaul. Analysis undertaken included the surrender of Vercingetorix from the standpoint of Caesar, describing the great Gallic leader, but defeated and humiliated, with their representation in comics Uderzo and Goscinny, who make the great protagonist of Vercingetorix's surrender, showing the way satirical and humorous leader of Gallic weapons being literally thrown at the feet of Caesar. In these registers, the representations of Vercingetorix allow us to analyze the figure of the chief Averno as mobilizing different impressions of Gauls and Romans.

Pretende-se com esta monografia analisar, em dois diferentes registros, narrativas acerca de um mesmo evento histórico: a rendição de Vercingetórix. O objetivo consistirá no estabelecimento de uma análise comparativa entre a descrição deste evento, narrado originalmente por Julio César, em sua obra De Bello Gallico,e a sua representação nas histórias em quadrinhos da coleção Uma aventura de Asterix, o Gaulês,criada por Albert Uderzo e René Goscinny, particularmente nos volumes, O Escudo Averno e Asterix, o Gaulês.Análise empreendida contemplou a rendição de Vercingetórix do ponto de vista de César, com a descrição do líder gaulês grandioso, mas derrotado e humilhado, com sua representação nos quadrinhos de Uderzo e Goscinny, que fazem de Vercingetórix o grande protagonista da rendição, mostrando de maneira satírica e jocosa as armas do líder gaulês sendo literalmente jogadas aos pés de César. Nesses registros, as representações de Vercingetórix nos permitirão analisar a figura do chefe averno como mobilizadora de diferentes impressões de gauleses e romanos.
