| dc.description | The Municipality of Bodó is located in the Potiguar Central Mesoregion and in the Serra de Santana Microregion, 197 km from the state capital, Natal. Bodó presents itself as a municipality with relevant tourist potential, as it is the birthplace of minerals and artists, being known as the “Land of Scheelite”, offering many natural and cultural attractions, as well as a unique history and a people rich in hospitality. . All this latency is involved by the main attraction of the city, Monte de Santa Luzia, which reveals the faith and devotion of the people of Bodoense. In order to deepen and collaborate with the tourism and sustainable development of the municipality, the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) prepared the inventory of the tourist offer, 2022 edition, carried out with the adoption of its own methodology developed by the researchers (teachers and students ) of the Research and Tourism Studies Laboratory (LAPET). The technical work was carried out with human capital, composed of professors and students of the Tourism Course at FELCS/UFRN. The Tourism Inventory is the first activity in the field of tourism and regional development that helps local public management and entrepreneurs based on the information and data collected in the planning process of municipal tourism activities. Therefore, the tourist inventory project in the municipality of Bodó/RN can contribute to the municipal management understanding in detail the profile of the tourist offer that the municipality has to serve tourists and promote activity in the municipality in an integrated and sustainable way. | |
| dc.description | O Município de Bodó localiza-se na Mesorregião Central Potiguar e na Microrregião da Serra de Santana, a 197 km da capital do estado, Natal. Bodó apresenta-se como um município com relevante potencial turístico, pois é berço de minérios e de artistas, sendo conhecida como a “Terra da Scheelita”, dispondo de muitos atrativos naturais e culturais, além de uma história única e um povo rico em hospitalidade. Toda essa latência está envolvida pelo principal atrativo da cidade, o Monte de Santa Luzia, que revela a fé e devoção do povo Bodoense. A fim de se aprofundar e colaborar com o desenvolvimento turístico e sustentável do município, a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) elaborou o inventário da oferta turística, edição 2022, executado com adoção de metodologia própria desenvolvida pelos pesquisadores (docentes e estudantes) do Laboratório de Pesquisas e Estudos Turísticos (LAPET). O trabalho técnico foi realizado com capital humano, composto por docentes e discentes do Curso de Turismo da FELCS/UFRN. O Inventário Turístico é a primeira atividade no campo turístico e desenvolvimento regional que auxilia a gestão pública local e os empresários a partir das informações e dados coletados, no processo de planejamento da atividade turística municipal. Sendo assim, o projeto de inventariação turística do município de Bodó/RN poderá contribuir para que a gestão municipal entenda de forma detalhada o perfil da oferta turística que o município dispõe para atender os turistas e fomentar a atividade no município de forma integrada e sustentável. | |
