| dc.description | The article approaches neoliberalism based on the considerations of Christophe Dejours about the elements that keep it going, despite its perverse effects. For the author, the indifference to the suffering resulting from it would result not only from market logic, but from the very psychic functioning of individuals, which, in turn, produce survival strategies to be able to withstand the suffering and, thus, continue working, without getting sick. The explanatory key is in the work itself, in the efforts to adapt to the suffering imposed on and by work in the neoliberal context, which are extended to other dimensions of life, generating worrying social and political consequences. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artigo aborda o neoliberalismo a partir das considerações de Christophe Dejours sobre os elementos que o mantêmem funcionamento, apesar de seus efeitos perversos. Para o autor, a indiferença ao sofrimento dele decorrente resultaria nãosó da lógica do mercado, mas do próprio funcionamento psíquico dos indivíduos, que, por sua vez, produzem estratégias de sobrevivência para conseguirem suportar o sofrimento e, assim, continuarem trabalhando, sem adoecer. A chave explicativa estaria no próprio trabalho, nos esforços de adaptação ao sofrimento imposto no e pelo trabalho no contexto neoliberal que são ampliados a outras dimensões da vida, gerando consequências sociais e políticas preocupantes. | pt-BR |
