Resumen
Objective: To analyze the quality of life and evaluate family functionality and factors
associates of people with complex wounds in line of care follow-up. Method:
Quantitative, exploratory-descriptive study, carried out in a care service for people
with complex wounds that met the following inclusion criteria. The collected data
were grouped, organized and processed, later correlation studies were carried out
between Cardiff Wound Impact Schedule domains and APGAR results
familiar. Results: The study sample consisted of 35 people with complex wounds,
aged between 18 and 76 years, predominantly male (71.43%), most people
had the chronic condition of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Conclusion: The quality of life and
family functionality is a key issue for people with complex wounds and
for Nursing professionals, as this subjective phenomenon gives a perspective
holistic for the nurse.
