Abstract

This research writes off a study about the lack of student housing in the city of Macapa. The universities in the state do not attend the housing necessities of the students arising from nearby cities or other states, searching for knowledge. In Brazil there is not an attention in building and preserving housing that attends the specific needs of students. Many lodges are adapted buildings, which do not support the number of students or where there is no necessary equipment to receive them. The aim of this research is to propose a student residence that attends the constructive recomendations for thermic comfort, bringing forward environmental comfort to the residents, in addition to proposing a feeling of intimacy of the students with the residence, introducing an identity for the architecture draft.
