| dc.description | O presente artigo tem o intuito de discutir sobre o trabalho escravo no campo brasileiro e as possíveis implicações na vida de muitos trabalhadores(as) que são escravizados em favor do lucro de poucas pessoas. Trata-se de uma reflexão teórica acerca do assunto, concretizada a partir do materialismo histórico dialético. Entre as conclusões, percebe-se que muitas mulheres e homens são tidos pelo Estado e pelo Mercado apenas enquanto personificação do trabalho, negando-lhes sua humanidade, visando à produção de lucro. Nessa lógica, a escravização do Outro não se torna uma imoralidade econômica. Ao contrário, o trabalho escravo ou análogo se torna um bem social.CAPITALISM AND AGRIBUSINESS: ASPECTS OF LABOR SLAVE IN THE FIELDAbstract: This article aims to discuss slave labor in the Brazilian countryside and the possible implications in the lives of many workers who are enslaved in favor of the profit of few people. It is a theoretical reflection on the subject, materialized from dialectical historical materialism. Among the conclusions, it can be seen that many women and men are considered by the State and the Market only as personification of labor, denying their humanity for the production of profit. In this logic, the enslavement of the Other does not become an economic immorality. On the contrary, slave or analogous work becomes a social good.Keywords: Slave labor. Capitalism. Agribusiness.
