| dc.description | Durante los ?ltimos a?os, la industria de la construcci?n en la zona sur del departamento del Huila se ha visto afectada de forma negativa debido al limitado n?mero de canteras de materiales de arrastre; los constructores se han visto obligados a recurrir a la compra de materiales en lugares distantes, lo cual repercute en los tiempos y costos finales de las obras.
En este sentido, el presente estudio busca formular el Plan de Manejo Ambiental para la cantera Matanzas, ubicada en el municipio de San Agust?n ? Huila. La elaboraci?n del Plan de Manejo se fundamentar? en dos actividades: la construcci?n de la l?nea base y la identificaci?n y valoraci?n de impactos ambientales. La primera consiste en caracterizar los componentes bi?tico, abi?tico y social del ?rea de influencia a partir de informaci?n primaria y secundaria, y la segunda, en la utilizaci?n de una metodolog?a adecuada que permita valorar los posibles impactos generados por el proyecto.
El objetivo fundamental del trabajo es dise?ar el Plan de Manejo Ambiental para la cantera Matanzas; esto con base en: i) la identificaci?n y valoraci?n de los impactos ambientales y ii) la elaboraci?n del Plan de Contingencia.
Como resultado relevante se espera que una vez realizada la identificaci?n y valoraci?n de los impactos, y tomando como fundamento la l?nea base del proyecto, se confirme la viabilidad de explotaci?n de materiales para la cantera, logrando de esta manera tener una nueva fuente de materiales p?treos en la zona. | |
| dc.description | During the last few years, the construction industry in the southern area of the department of Huila has been adversely affected due to the limited number of quarries for towing materials; the builders have been forced to resort to the purchase of materials in distant places, which affects the times and final costs of the works.
In this sense, the present study seeks to formulate the Environmental Management Plan for the Matanzas quarry, located in the municipality of San Agust?n - Huila. The elaboration of the Management Plan will be based on two activities: the construction of the baseline and the identification and assessment of environmental impacts. The first consists in characterizing the biotic, abiotic and social components of the area of influence from primary and secondary information, and the second, in the use of an adequate methodology that allows assessing the possible impacts generated by the project.
The main objective of the work is to design the Environmental Management Plan for the Matanzas quarry; this is based on: i) the identification and assessment of environmental impacts and ii) the preparation of the Contingency Plan.
As a relevant result it is expected that once the identification and assessment of the impacts is made, and based on the baseline of the project, the feasibility of exploiting materials for the quarry will be confirmed, thus achieving a new source of stone materials in the zone. | |
