La presente investigaci?n tiene como objetivo dise?ar un manual pr?ctico para el proceso de renovaci?n de acreditaci?n en alta calidad a nivel institucional de la Universidad de Ibagu?, con el fin de fortalecer la calidad de la educaci?n superior y hacer reconocimiento p?blico del logro de altos niveles de calidad; que contribuyan al progreso social, econ?mico y cultural de la regi?n. La metodolog?a que se lleva a cabo en esta propuesta se ejecuta a trav?s de las siguientes fases: enfoque de la investigaci?n una metodolog?a mixta cualicuantitativa, el tipo de investigaci?n descriptivo, explicativo, an?lisis y de car?cter propositivo. Los instrumentos de recolecci?n de datos son de fuentes primarias y secundarias, por lo que se requiere de un procedimiento previo de sensibilizaci?n sobre la importancia del proceso de autoevaluaci?n con fines de acreditaci?n de alta calidad institucional, dirigida a la comunidad acad?mica y administrativa. Por otro lado, se debe disponer de informaci?n documentada y en l?nea, para la apropiaci?n de estatutos, normas, actualidad universitaria y los avances de los planes de mejoramiento que se ha llevado a cabo.The objective of this research is to design a practical manual for the process of renewal of high quality accreditation at the institutional level of the University of Ibague, in order to strengthen the quality of higher education and make public recognition of the achievement of high levels of quality; that contribute to the social, economic and cultural progress of the region. The methodology that is carried out in this proposal is carried out through the following phases: research approach, a qualitative-quantitative mixed methodology, the type of descriptive, explanatory, analysis and purposeful research. The data collection instruments are from primary and secondary sources, which is why a prior awareness procedure is required on the importance of the self-assessment process for high-quality institutional accreditation purposes, aimed at the academic and administrative community. On the other hand, documented and online information must be available for the appropriation of statutes, regulations, university news and the progress of the improvement plans that have been carried out.
