dc.descriptionEl uso problem?tico de pornograf?a es un constructo novedoso el cual hace referencia al uso excesivo y los problemas funcionales con los que se ha encontrado asociado el consumo de pornograf?a, esta variable se ha encontrado asociada con impulsividad, soledad e hipersexualidad. El objetivo de la investigaci?n es el de analizar las relaciones entre las variables uso problem?tico de pornograf?a, autocontrol, soledad y b?squeda de sensaciones. Para el presente estudio se utilizaron los datos de una muestra online (n: 157) a trav?s de un cuestionario el cual conten?a las escalas BSCS, UCLA, BSSS y PPUS. Se encontr? que el uso problem?tico de pornograf?a se relaciona de manera directa con la soledad e inversa con el autocontrol lo cual reafirma la teor?a ya existente y plantea la interrogante acerca de su relaci?n con la b?squeda de sensaciones.
dc.descriptionProblematic pornography use is a novel construct that depicts excessive and harmful pornography use. This variable has been linked with loneliness, impulsivity and hypersexuality. The main objective of this research is to analyze the relations between problematic pornography use, loneliness, self-control and sensation seeking. 157 participants answered a questionnaire that included the following scales: BSCS, UCLA, BSSS and PPUS. Participants who had higher levels of problematic pornography use also had higher levels of loneliness and less levels of self-control. Sensation seeking did not correlate significantly with problematic pornography use.
