dc.descriptionThe Future Engineering Leaders Scholarship (FELS) is a joint effort from different countries to offer scholarships to undergraduate engineering students whose native language is other than English. It is an opportunity for students to take part in an immersion English program that aims at developing both the English language and skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, leadership and cultural awareness. The special characteristic about the FELS is that students apply for it in pairs or in groups of three. Since this scholarship is aimed at developing basic engineering skills, students are asked to develop a project based on an engineering topic to be pre-selected. Details about this project are provided below in the section “Project Proposal”. Although most of this form is completed individually, the section about the project has to be developed by all the members of the team together.
