Complicaciones clínicas por anaplasmosis en un canino doméstico. Un reporte de caso.

Resumen
La anaplasmosis canina, es una enfermedad de distribución mundial, ocasionada
por bacterias gramnegativas intracelulares obligatorias identificadas como Anaplasma
platys y Anaplasma phagocytophilum, las cuales afectan respectivamente a las plaquetas
y los granulocitos (neutrófilos y eosinófilos principalmente). La anaplasmosis canina es
una enfermedad transmitida por vectores, representados principalmente por las
garrapatas del género Rhipicephalus sanguíneus y en Europa por garrapatas del género
Ixodidos. El periodo de incubación de la enfermedad es de 7 a 15 días, el cuadro clínico
cursa con fiebre, decaimiento, palidez de mucosas, trastornos hemorrágicos y adenitis.
