Prevalencia de mastitis en la estación agraria Paysandú y su correlación con la pluviometria

Resumen
La mastitis es conocida como la inflamación de la glándula mamaria, se caracteriza
por su agente causal, la presentación de signos clínicos y el tiempo de duración. Esta
patología se encuentra favorecida por factores de riesgo como la mala higiene en las salas de
ordeño, sobre ordeño de las glándulas mamarias, fallas del protocolo de desinfección en el
proceso de ordeño, heridas o laceraciones en las glándulas mamarias. Otros factores de tipo
ambientales que pueden favorecer la presentación de mastitis son las épocas de lluvias, estas
son generadoras de charcas y pantano que se convierten en un foco de infección y
proliferación de agentes patógenos responsables de ocasionar la enfermedad.
